First there was Charlton Heston... which was a decent movie for its time...Then there was Marky Mark Wahlberg... which I did see several times and enjoyed, even though technically that movie was weird and stuff. Now James Franco will throw his name into the "franchise" to film a prequel, "Rise of the Apes." So it isn't their planet yet basically; they're just rising to take it. He'll play some sort of scientist in the middle of a man vs. ape war. As far as I'm concerned, this movie will suck no matter who is cast.
